HEY THERE! The pic above is what I first see each morning and what you'll see when walking into the Focus Fitness Training Studio.

The words just below the Focus Fitness sign represent "The Focus" or The Pillars" of our practice.

As a C.H.E.K. Certified Exercise Coach, and Holistic Life Coach, trained by Paul Chek. I was strongly influenced by Paul's Book, The Last 4 Doctors You'll Ever Need, and take a Holistic approach to fitness and wellness with my clients. Portions of this article come directly from The Last 4 Doctors you'll ever need.

At Focus Fitness we are interested in:
- Improving Nutrition.
- Lowering Stress levels.
- Increasing Strength and Mobility.
- Developing a Lifestyle that Fulfills an Individual's needs.

This is accomplish with the help and guidance of The 4 Doctors. That is, the 4 Doctors within each of us.

Who are the 4 Doctors?

Dr. Diet-provides the foundation for wellbeing.
Food and drink dramatically affect our energy levels and our biochemical reality, which in turn influences our emotional and our mental reality.
When the Diet is deficient, there just isn't enough energy or clarity of mind to initiate and sustain the changes needed for self-healing. Dr. Diet gives you the information you need to make the right nutritional choices for your body.

Dr. Quiet-is the physician in charge of energy management and recovery.
When you're overly stressed and your fight or flight system is triggered repeatedly or for long periods of time, one of the first things to suffer is your sleep. Your body's ability to recover and repair itself is tied to the sleep you get. Dr. Quiet's primary duty is to encourage you to get the necessary sleep to recover from challenges the day before and to wake energized for the day ahead.

Dr. Movement-We no longer have to hunt and gather just to feed ourselves, and most of us aren't working in fields growing our own food. Over the course of history, we have become more sedentary. Our jobs and careers require us to sit most of the day in front of computer screens, and the daily demands of our life often keep us from any kind of beneficial physical movement. Movement isn't simply necessary for keeping a trim figure or decreasing risk of heart disease. It's necessary to get nutrients to and through our body. to move waste out of our bodies and to generate emotional stability and mental clarity. Dr. Movement is there to show us the way to acquire more life force and how to move it into action so that you can truly experience and enjoy life.

Dr. Happiness-is always there to lead us toward a life that fulfills our individual needs. Dr. Happiness advises us that if we lead a life that doesn't fit with our core values and doesn't fulfill us, every facet of our life becomes a burden. the important guiding truth that this doctor offers is that happiness is an essential feature of genuine lasting health. Dr. happiness shows you how to create and undertake the deep introspective study and intention to discover what makes you truly happy.

At Focus Fitness we believe that if you listen to your 4 doctors you can achieve a quality of life that exudes radiant health and vitality.

Once inside you will find 1/2 of the gym set up for big rig lifting and functional training and the other 1/2 consisting of padded turf.

Picture

We primarily use the turf for Kettlebell training and OS (Original Strength) resets. Clients have been found suffering while pushing the Prowler up and down the turf as well.

Ok, I plan on being more consistent publishing once Im comfortable with the format. Lets now see how this looks...
